Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban Members

CLUB HISTORY

The club started with ladies who were not just acquaintances but close friends. They decided to give meaning to this closeness, thus the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban was born.

The overflowing love and strong fellowship of these ladies were the keys to the club’s solidarity. Many worthwhile projects have been made, especially projects that made a difference to women and children. These projects can be attested through the physical evidence of infrastructure the club has erected since its formation. The purpose of creating a special service avenue is to oversee the continuity of the accomplished projects. This concern is out of love – the first reason of the creation of the club and, perhaps, one of the reasons the club was able to receive various citations from the District, Rotary International, and even from the communities that benefited from these projects.

“Service above Self” has always been the motivating factor that made the club members stay strong for many years.
