The Rotary Club of CDO East Urban, led by Club President Ma. Concepcion Borja-Lagonera, partnered with the Local Government of Gingoog City through Councilor/IPP Myrna S. Motoomull, donated two (2) heavy-duty sewing machines to the members of Rural Improvement Club (RIC), who are mostly housewives from Barangay Santiago, Gingoog City. The club started with ladies who were not just acquaintances but close friends. They decided to give meaning to this closeness, thus the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban was born.
